Our arrangements always draw their roots back to our biggest influences, from jazz giants to modern-day pop icons.
With a background in jazz music, big band arranging, and a love for 70s/80s music, Bertram brings an old-school twist and vintage sound to the table.
Kadi also has roots in the jazz scene, but the majority of her influences come from the R&B, soul, and pop genres. This compliments Bertram's old-school attitude perfectly, bringing a breath of fresh air to old-time classics.
Together, we arrange timelessly with the intention of creating something that resonates with every listener, whether that is 1920s George Gershwin fanatics or 2020s Swifties
About Us
During the pandemic in 2020, Kadi left Estonia and Bertram left Denmark to study at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. For four years, they studied under prominent teachers such as Jesse van Ruller and Lydia van Dam. Upon graduating in 2024, they joined forces to form the Bertram & Kadi Duo.
Bertram and Kadi quickly made a name for themselves in the Dutch jazz scene, becoming a staple duo across hotels, private events, and venues.
In 2025, they expanded their performances into full band settings, inviting some of the best musicians in the country to play alongside them and bring their unique arrangements of iconic hits to life
